Maggie is a varsity cheerleader and varsity softball player at Fairview High School. Maggie first heard of because I said I would from a post on social media. Immediately intrigued, she investigated and was ecstatic to find out that the foundation is local and quickly spreading. Scrolling through pictures of projects of Unified Promises, she wanted to become apart of this organization. (Lucky for her, Alex Sheen was going to be speaking at her school very soon!) This became her chance to join this program and fulfill her need to help society. Shortly after Alex came to her school, she was appointed Unified Promise Leader and this chapter in her life slowly started to fall into place.
My name is Emily Lutsock and I’m a junior at Fairview High School. Along with being the Logistics Leader for our because I said I would Chapter, I am also involved in student council, drill team, show choir and our drama club. After the first assembly where we heard Alex’s story, I felt that this was a cause that could move forward through schools and continue to affect the people in or around our community. I’m looking forward to this Chapter’s work together and all the good that follows!

Kaitlyn is an 11th grader at Fairview High School. Outside of because I said I would, Kaitlyn is also involved in orchestra, Drill Team, student council, and National Honors Society. She is class treasurer and enjoys helping out her community in any way possible. She also enjoys science and hopes to become a nurse practitioner one day. Through because I said I would, Kaitlyn hopes to reach out to her community and show how important helping out and keeping promises is.
My name is Emily and I'm a proud student of Fairview High School. I'm in 10th grade and am involved in soccer, and Westshore Young Leadership program. I chose to join the because I said I would Chapter because of the captivating assembly Fairview was apart of. Alex Sheen was so inspiring and when I heard I would be able to be apart of this program and make a difference, I was all in. I found it to be such an amazing opportunity to help better our community in hopes it would only spread even further. My role in this chapter is to fundraise, which is exciting because I feel I truly get to interact with our community businesses and watch them help such an amazing cause. The team of students I work with is an amazing environment and I'm happy with the choice I made to be apart of this.
